If you want to change the IP in Windows 8 must go through the following steps:

1. Use the key combination Windows Key + R

2. Running order ncpa.cpl

3. Right-click Ethernet or Wii-Fi then choose Properties

4. Double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or Internet Protocol Version case 6 (TCP/IPv6)

Set dynamic IP in Windows 8

To set a dynamic IP address to select the window open option below:

- Obtain an IP address automatically

- Obtain DNS server address automatically

Then click OK and wait for the PC to update its IP address

Set static IP in Windows 8

To set a static IP address, you must know the IP address, Netmask, Gateway and DNS network you connect to. This data is provided by your network administrator or Internet provider. If you configure a local network configuration data differs depending on the network and / or router.

To set a static IP address should follow the steps below (see example shown):

- Select the option Use the Following IP Address and enter the IP address of your computer, netmask and gateway

- Select the option Use the Following DNS server addresses and enter one or two DNS addresses

Checking IP in Windows 8

1. Use the key combination Windows Key + R
2. Running order ncpa.cpl
3. Right-click Ethernet or Wi-Fi, then choose Status
4. Click the Details button to display the connection details
